Summer Vacation

Goals for the second semester

My goal for the second semester is to have a fulfilling day!

Especially, I want to spend my days not only studying but also being autonomous. I've always admired muscle. So, I started muscle training in July. It is so fun but to feel tired. However  building muscle became a daily motivation. "Continuity is power."(継続は力なり) I think these words are really important because also muscles do not build without continuous training. And then, I also work hard school studies. Studying in high school just keeps getting harder and harder. So, I have to study hard. 

My favorite musics

I love hip-hop. I like US hip-hop, UK hip-hop, and of course all Japanese hip-hop. So I would like to introduce my favorite rap music.

Big Poppa - THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G.

This rap is one of the songs that made me fall in love with hip-hop. I was drawn to it by the comfort of the beat, as well as the gang's bullishness in the lyrics. My favorite one phrase is

"Throw your hands in the air, if youse a true player"

Suge - Da Baby

This is the rap that got me hooked on hip-hop. I remember when I used to listen to this rap music everyday to death. Created by jetsonmade, this beat is irresistible and accelerates addiction! My favorite one phrase is

"I don't follow no bitches on IG, but all of your bitches, they follow a nigga."

洗脳 - Awich

This is the rap that got me hooked on Japanese rap. Lyrically, the song contains satirical phrases about modern society, and is very provocative. And I love this rap featuring Chinza DOPENESS. The beat is very stylish, but addictive, with a touch of Japanese style. My favorite one phrase is

"The rules and the word 'normal' that are laid out like asphalt, cleverly entangled in our thought processes, and rooted in our roots, are the end of our luck."「アスファルトよろしく敷き詰められたルールや普通という言葉 思考回路に巧みに絡みつき根をはられたが運の尽き」

HYAENA - Travis Scott

This rap is something I have been listening to a lot lately. I thought it was a great song, sampling Gentle Giant's "Proclamation" and applying the lyrics to the music industry.

My favorite one phrase is

We gotta fill the stands up with slaps and the anthems.

Today was my birthday. My birthday comes every year after summer vacation, and I feel every year that I wish I could celebrate it at school. Today is my birthday, so we had a cake. The cake was a chocolate cake with lots of fruit. The cake was very delicious and filled my mouth with sweetness. And as a birthday present this year, I was bought a pull-up machine. My parents heard that I do muscle-ups. They bought it for me as a support. The price was 10,000 yen. I will use it carefully for a long time. I celebrated my birthday with many people. I celebrated with my father, mother, and friends. I even received a birthday present from Itaru-kun. I was very happy. It was a very productive day. 

Wednesday, July 26

Today, I went shopping with Itaru-kun, Sota-kun, and Haruto-kun under a plan to make Haruto-kun more fashionable. Actually, Haruto did not have that many clothes, and he did not have anything to wear on the day of the festival. Moreover, he had the attitude that "anything is fine as long as I can wear it," so we all went shopping together to correct that. On that day, we went to the Hikari no Mori. I went to UNIQLO and GU and bought many clothes. It was interesting to see how close Haruto's fashion style was to Sota's, although it is good that Haruto has become more fashionable. On the way home, we had ramen at a ramen shop called "BARIKIYA. The ramen soup was very thick and delicious. However, it made me sick to my stomach.

Monday, July 31

Today, I participated in an activity sponsored by Kumamoto Prefecture called the High School Prefectural Assembly. The High School Prefectural Assembly allows us high school students to present our questions about Kumamoto Prefecture at the assembly. I participated in this meeting and asked a question about the exchange between Kumamoto Prefecture and Taiwan. It was a very valuable experience for me to actually go inside the prefectural government and meet Governor Kabashima and the Deputy Governor. In addition to Oguni High School, five other high schools participated in the High School Prefectural Assembly. All of the other high schools gave excellent presentations. I was in charge of presenting my impressions, so I wrote a report based on the responses I received that day. I was very happy that the vice governor praised my impression after the prefectural assembly was over. After the prefectural assembly was over, I went to Sakuramachi to hang out with friends. In Sakuramachi, we went to a game center and bought clothes. The thing that left the biggest impression on me was the katsudon that I had for dinner. I had it at a restaurant called Shoryotei. The egg was tender and the best part was that I could have another bowl of rice for free. The prices were not that high, so it was very student-friendly. Everyone had a blast on the ride home. It was a very intense day. 

Saturday, August 5

Today was the Welfare Summer Festival. At the summer festival, many stalls were lined up, which lifted my spirits. What especially impressed me the most was the reunion with old friends. Many of my friends I hadn't seen since junior high school, so it was a lot of fun. The most delicious thing I ate was a kebab. The sauce was very good. But then an incident happened. Right before Haruto was about to ask his girlfriend out on a date, he got scared and couldn't do it. After that, I tried to forget the memory by having a burnt-out meal with him.

Sunday, August 6

Today I went to Fukuoka University's open campus. I left early in the morning after the summer festival, so I was very sleepy in the car on the way there. When I arrived at Fukuoka University, I was again surprised at the size of the campus. When I arrived at the campus, I was again surprised at the size of the campus, which was about 40 times the size of the PayPay Dome. On that day, I went to visit the Faculty of Economics. I was able to spend a meaningful time at the faculty information session and walking around the campus. It was a day that gave me more options in choosing a university. 1125

Sunday, August 13

Today, there was a summer festival in Oguni Town. At the summer festival, many of my old friends were there, and it was a lot of fun. The Keyaki Plaza was filled with many people. My goal was to watch the fireworks, but because I was standing in line at a yakitori restaurant, I ended up not being able to see the fireworks because they were just overlapped by the trees. I ended up waiting in line at the yakitori shop for 2 hours and the festival was over. The taste of the yakitori was average.

Monday, August 21

Today, my sister and her sister's boyfriend came to visit my house, so we went to Yusuikyo for a water play. There were many visitors playing in the water at Yusuikyo. It had been a while since I had played in the water, so I was very excited. There is a natural water slide in Yusuikyo. I didn't bring a change of clothes, so I held off playing, but my two friends played on the waterslide even though they didn't bring a change of clothes. Naturally, since I didn't have a change of clothes, my sister had to wear my clothes and my boyfriend had to wear just his underpants. And I was also in just my underpants. It was really funny because he ended up driving the car in his underpants.

Tuesday, August 22

Today I went to Kurokawa Onsen with my sister and her boyfriend. There were so many customers at Kurokawa Onsen. We bought a hot spring bill for 1,300 yen. Onsen bill is a service that allows you to visit three hot spring resorts by paying 1,300 yen. I was excited because I love hot springs. The first one was Shinmeikan, a place with a cave bath. It was a very nice sulfuric hot spring. The second was to a hot spring called Okunoyu. There were open-air baths, including a river bath, and it was very open. The sauna was especially nice. It was a hot spring resort that made me want to go back.
